So so sorry to hear this sad news!!
I met Rochel when I was still single – so kind, so patient, so caring. Really sad to hear this news. Wishing the family strength and comfort.

an old friend from over 60 years.

She was the first girl I met when my father took us to the Rebbe the first time. She was so kind to me, also because I knew no one else. From then on we became fast friends and every time we met we continued our friendship. She also tried to make a match for my children and just 2-3 years ago we became mechutonim. She was refined as she was elegant, a true chassidishe woman in all aspects. Boruch Dayan Hoemes.

Never hurried never rushed listened patiently and cleverly guided thru the stressful shidduch process.
Matches did not always work but Rochel’s wisdom left a permanent impression. I am sure she will continue to be מזווג זיווגים fronm שמים continuing to care for us below.

P.s. I want to ditto about her Zalmen , any mother who raised a child like zalmi must have had many זכויות

Even three hours away in East Coast time, Mrs. Heber was never too busy to provide comfort, חיזוק, or just good advice. In times of joy as well as challenge what an elegant and caring friend she has been.
Her faith and inspiration will remain.

So shocking & sad

So shocking!! So sad!!
I never knew her, but I know a couple of her children who are all just such warm and kind, friendly and nice good people!
May HaShem comfort them by bringing her back alive in T’chiyas Hameisim with Moshiach NOW!!!!

Wonderful Shadchan
October 16, 2017 9:00 pm

She was a woman who genuinely cared and persevered in helping people find happiness with a partner.
She didn’t take fees up front and derived real joy in the successes.
There was no shidduch crisis with her – there was a shidduch challenge – and she rose to the occasion with determination, sensitivity, positive energy, kind words…. And never gave up!
