Congregation Bnai Avraham Sisterhood in Brooklyn Heights, led by Shlucha Shternie Raskin, hosted a workshop this past week called “Find your Spark” run by life coach Ellen Kamaras.
Kamaras spoke about looking deep into your life and finding the spark that is missing to keep your life meaningful. The workshop was intentionally scheduled close to the Holiday of Rosh Hashanah in order to motivate the women of the sisterhood to look within and make resolutions for the new upcoming year.
To kick off the workshop, Chabad Of Brooklyn Heights hired JJ’s Holy Cow food truck to park outside the beautiful brownstone building and serve their remarkable organic burgers served with roasted peppers, sauteed onions, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and a special house dressing.
Fresh fries and cold drinks were also handed out as everyone was waiting for their orders, with the street smelling of a flavorful aroma.
The sisterhood ladies loved the outdoor and workshop experience, and there was a big turn out. As they went inside to start the workshop, the men who came to pray Maariv with Rabbi Aron L. Raskin were also served burgers and had an utmost interesting time.
The workshop would definitely be remembered due to the amazing advice and tools given By Mrs. Kamaras and by the memory of this tasteful evening. What a way to start a happy and meaningful new year.
Bnai’ Avraham sisterhood make it their priority to bring the most innovative experiences for the women in Downtown Brooklyn area and have been making it possible for women to connect and learn. We look forward to their upcoming events.
