The original Bravo Pizza, a kosher pizzeria on Broadway in Manhattan and popular among Lubavitch consumers, will be reverting back to non-Kosher sometime this week, kosher food blog Yeah That’s Kosher reported.
A new, much larger Bravo Pizza opened recently on W 37th street, which is Kosher, Cholov Yisrael, under OK supervision.
Bravo originally became kosher back in 2012, Yeah That’s Kosher reported.
Bravo Kosher Pizza now has 2 remaining Manhattan locations, the new one on W 37th street and one on Trinity Place downtown. They will both remain open and kosher.
Update: A representative from the OK Kosher certification has informed COLlive that the location of the original Bravo Pizza on Broadway, which will revert to non-Kosher, will be renamed, and will not be called Bravo Pizza, “so as to avoid any confusion among consumers.
“Bravo Kosher Pizza has moved to a new, larger location on W 37th Street, and they look forward to greeting all their customers at that new location,” he said.

You don’t know anything about my hiskashrus to the Rebbe, or anything about me. Yet you feel you need to tell me what to do – are you my Mashpia? No, I didn’t think so, my Mashpia doesn’t patronize. Have a good day.
Not nearly as good.
Go to Jerusalem Cafe its near by and good pizza.
I know the owner well. They are moving a larger location with more options. It’s all good its still going to be the same pizza with the same people making it.
only problem is if they keep Bravo in the old location, people will go there thinking its kosher.
It is sad when a yid have to have a treif restaurant for living, (even though he has two other kosher locations).
And, moshiach have to come either way.
Very easy to put the Rebbe “out of it”, I wish the Rebbe will have a more important place in your life from now on.
Instead of saying “pizza is no longer Kosher” you can say. “bravo kosher pizza changes location”
that was without exaggeration the best pizza I have ever had
Nobody died, B”H. A store is changing, why bring the Rebbe in to it? And there are still 2 Kosher versions. But…. I don’t know how many people will realize it is treif & that is a problem.
Such sad news. The owner is such a tzaddik. We must have the Rebbe MHM NOW!!!!
I used to eat there a couple years ago. Loved they’re pizza. Absolutely delicious!
I hope the new one is as tasty.
So confusing
