I am stunned. Yudka Etka was one of the first people I met in Chabad, while in Los Angeles. Ironically, I didn’t know that she was working at my father’s hospital (he knew her by her English name Janet.). She was the one who encouraged me to come to Crown Heights, where I went for the first time to attend her wedding). I owe a lot of my own spiritual path to her combination of pragmatism and fervor. Yudka Etka was a fine person, a dugma chaya through and through. May she be malitz yosher for all of us and… Read more »

So sorry to hear, my thoughts are with the family
I knew her when she lived in Crown Heights, and I recall Yudka Etka was a very fine person — unassuming, low-key — and at the same time a warm, good, ehrliche, enjoyable girl from whom one could learn a lot by being in her company. May her memory be for a blessing, and may her family be comforted. May Moshiach come now and do away with the need for comforting the mourners!!!
Very sad to hear. May Hashem bestow many bracha’s on the Winograds, may they only know simchas from noe on.

Very warm and welcoming
Yudka was a dugma chaya in every aspect of her life and especially her dedication to her family. May her memory be blessed!
We were sooo saddened, shocked, & heartbroken Erev Shabbos of Chol HaMoed Pesach to learn of Yudka Etka’s passing. She will always be fondly remembered by our family.
May Hashem bestow the much-needed strength to the family during this trying time of your lives.
With warm condolences to Pinchas, Chanya, Shmueli, Berele, Mendy, & Eli.
