Report from Merkos Shlichus:
The first public Seder ever was held in Mammoth Lakes, California. It was a great success- more than 30 Jewish people showed up to participate in this historic event.
Mammoth Lakes, California is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains and is known for its famous skiing resort and beautiful scenery.
It was sponsored by Chabad of Northern Nevada and arranged by Rabbi Mendel and Sarah Cunin who have been servicing the area for over 20 years with tickets provided by Pesach Merkos Shlichus.
The bochurim reached Yidden in a place where there is no formal Jewish community. The people were very excited to have them and look forward to more visits in the future!
A lot of Divine Providence happened throughout the journey, starting with our first point of contact, the lady from the Airbnb home rental who turned out to be Jewish!
Shopping for last minute items Erev Pesach, we met a Yid in the supermarket who asked about the Seder.
Amazingly, at the Seder, a Jew told over a miracle that happened with him and the Rebbe. When he was a child, he severely injured himself skiing and couldn’t walk. His mother asked the Rebbe for a bracha and the Rebbe gave her a dollar for him and said he will be fine. So it happened- he was with us in Mammoth skiing and Boruch Hashem well!
While this is a place that filled with a lot of activities, the bochurim Chazak Lipszyc, Mendel Shmotkin, and Levi Gansburg spent their time focused on the Yidden that were so grateful that they were there.

You got it all wrong, the very reason why bochurim today have the chayus and koach to do the Rebbe’s shlichus is precisely BECAUSE the rebbe is STILL alive and is STILL giving us the koach to do what needs to be done top bring moshiach, like rabbi wilshansky (rosh yeshiva of yeshiva gedola tzfas) once said it’s easier to say that the rebbe is alive today more than 25 years ago!!!!
wow your making it around the web alot these days

What is most amazing is these bochurim and many others who were not born yet when the Rebbe was alive who carry on the Rebbe’s work with so much chayus (enthusiasm). Keep up the good work and may we merit Moshiach now!
