Mothers, Daughters Unite at Event

Bais Chana Academy High School in Orange, CT, hosted a meaningful mother/daughter evening in honor of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka’s yahrtzeit.

Working with madricha Shterny Levitin, students were involved in every aspect of the preparations, from invitations to the tasteful decorations. Parents and students were treated to a delicious dinner and an enjoyable mother/daughter activity. The highlight and most inspirational part of the evening was the student presentations on the theme “ROOTS”. The Rebbeim, Niggunim, aspects of the Rebbe’s life as well as the mesiras nefesh of chassidim, were all portrayed in a most creative way.

Mrs. Chany Konikov, a BCA mother from South Hampton, NY, exclaimed, “It was such a magical evening! The content, décor, food and most importantly the warm and wonderful atmosphere – it was all so beautiful! What a fantastic group of girls and staff!”

The mother/daughter evening was a proud night for Bais Chana as students had the chance to showcase their talents and all that they do on a regular basis at school. Using the inspiration of the Rebbetzin on 22 Shevat, BCA continues to proudly educate the leaders of tomorrow.

Bais Chana Academy is located just 1.5 hours from Crown Heights and offers dorm facilities.
