Over 50 women attended part 1 of Junior N’Shei of Crown Heights Hilchos Shabbos series.
After a great success with last year’s ‘Food For Life: 4 Part Kashrus Series’, Junior N’shei has launched again a 4 week series focusing uniquely on Shabbos. The classes are open for women of all ages.
With experienced Rabbonim well versed in Halacha, the series was designed to be practical and informative. The classes are focusing on 3 central topics of Shabbos: Muktzah, Cooking, and Selecting. Part 4 will conclude with ‘The beauty of Shabbos through the eyes of Chassidus’.
Ever Wondered…
Can I put spices in hot food on Shabbos?
What about warming a baby bottle?
Can I open a draw that has Muktzah in it?
Is there a permissible way to move a muktzah item?
Can I separate cutlery to set my Shabbos table?
Is Choosing clothes from my closet considered Borrer?
Am I permitted to separate different foods from a platter?
“There has been a lot of positive feedback from our past Kashrus series last year,” says the organizer of the event. “People appreciated the classes and felt that they gained in clarity and knowledge of Halacha. We have received many requests for continued classes, and are grateful to be having our second series this year.”
At the end of each class, women will have the opportunity to ask their questions and get answers.
Participants who join all four events will enter into a raffle to win a dollar of the Rebbe!
Stay tuned for the next of this series!
