We are working hard on a detailed tribute to Reb Shimon Goldman a”h for the upcoming Shvat issue of the N’shei Chabad Newsletter.
As you surely know, Reb Goldman was very active in Bais Rivkah, in the 1970s and 1980s in particular.
We received this photo from Reb Shimon’s children, but nobody seems to know who the woman is!
We would hate to go to print without her name.
The others in the photo are, L-R: Reb Gavriel Rubashkin, Reb Mottel Rivkin, Reb Shimon Goldman, and ybl”ch Reb Avraham Light.
Does anyone know who the woman is?

Many times in Lubavitch, pictures were taken with politicians.

growing up in SH London , life was idyllic at that time ! we lived playing on the streets with all our friends till dusk , no phones or internet allowing for many hobbies and projects i enjoy still today , only home made food from scratch , MBD then AF and boy choirs with hrs of singing along cleaning the kitchen our selves and non of this relying on the cleaning lady syndrome , stay at home mums , tznius clothing , we all looked like jewish princesses …. i could go on and on about the real true… Read more »

Yes, Liz Holtzman. No, she was not on the board. She was a sitting congresswoman and wanted to help Jewish schools and she met with the Bais Rivka board. Huge mystery….

It is R’ Shmuel Light.
Liz Holtzman. In the 80’s or 90’s she had a complete makeover, different hairstyle etc., she rebranded her image before running for higher office (& lost) but in the 70’s that’s how she looked.
