In thirty days, Chabad Lubavitch chassidim and Jews the world over will be commemorating the 30th anniversary of Hei Teves.
In preparation for this occasion, a little over a week ago, on Sunday morning of the Kinus Hashluchim, a group of Shluchim, Rabbonim and community activists from Crown Heights and around the world, gathered for an important meeting.
Efforts are underway to befittingly mark this special milestone in a most memorable and impactful way, including a number of programs planned for the day.
A unique panel taking place on Monday the eve of Hei Teves, school-wide programs across the worldwide Chabad school/Yeshiva network and guest “farbrengers” in Crown Heights and in Anash communities around the world to name a few.
Hundreds of Shluchim, Anash members and bochurim are making plans to travel to be in New York at the Ohel on this momentous day.
The meeting, which included representatives from cities across the globe, was the beginning of a conversation on a host of ideas and programs both already in motion, as well as new ideas on a centralized level, as well as on a local community level.
In the coming days and weeks, more details will be made available on the upcoming events.
The meeting was called by Vaad Or v’Chom Hahiskashrus. For more information please email [email protected].
