The outspoken American businessman and television personality Donald John Trump was elected as the 45th President of the United States.
He is scheduled to take office on January 20, 2017; he holds the distinction as the oldest man ever elected to the presidency, surpassing Ronald Reagan .
Trump was born and raised in New York City and received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968. As of 2016, he was listed by Forbes as the 324th wealthiest person in the world, and 156th in the United States.
Trump took the stage at the New York Hilton close to 3 AM after former Secretary of State and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton has called to concede.
A reported “Mazal Tov” was heard from an enthusiastic person in the crowd.
“This is a historic night,” Vice President-elect Mike Pence told supporters before introducing Trump. “The American people have spoken and the American have elected their new champion.”
“To all Republicans, Democrats and Independents, I say it is time for us to get together as one united people,” Trump said. “I am reaching out to you to unify this great country.”

I also want to mention that mr. Donald Trump’s daughter went to the Ohel this past Motzie Shabbos yes we all know that G-d created the world I give a lot of credit to mr. Donald Trump’s daughter that went there and I think it’s such an amazing beautiful thing that she went great job
Watching the results, it was shocking to see Trump win. The biggest was when PA switched from Hillary to him. I am in total agreement with all those that say it was due to the Rebbe’s bracha when Ivanka went to the Ohel. Now, if the Rebbe gave his bracha then I’m good.
100 % was the prayer at the ohel

The one above runs the world, we suffered enough 8 long years, Clinton coming into office would of Chas vshslom been as if electing Hitler. Bh for miracles.

Trump is not for religious freedom; the same way he treats muslims and latinos is the manner in which Jews have been targeted for centuries yet you’re all for it as long as the victim isn’t you.
This is an absolute tragedy for the usa and the world as a whole. A day when a hateful, spiteful, rude, spoilt,racist, sexist, xenophobic and politically clueless man is elected over a flawed but experienced and importantly actually capable woman.
What has the world come to. America is broken.
This domino effect of all those states just faliing to Trump one after the other, could only be a miracle – of Melech haMoshiach conquering over the nations – as the Rebbe said when the government of Russia was
