The first Sukkah in a prominent Catholic University in Miami has been a huge hit.
S. Thomas University, located in Miami which has many Jews attending due to its law school and business administration school, has never had a Sukkah or a Chabad on Campus.
Until this year.
Over 100 people, between students and faculty, came out for a lunch of Sushi, bagels, salads and drinks, to experience the holiday of Sukkot and shake the Lulav and Esrog.
The university has been extremely supportive of having a Chabad Rabbi around to provide spirituality for the many Jewish students and the Jewish faculty who work there.
We love you!!…. From summer staff:)
