Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim gearing up for annual Lag B’omer parade held entirely online.
Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim, a division of The Shluchim Office, is gearing up for their annual online Lag B’Omer parade.
“Here at CYH, we like to ensure that no child ever feels like he or she is missing out on anything by being on Shlichus,” says Sara Guez, co-director of the division. “So far our online birthday farbrengens, birthday packages, hachanas, clubs and rallies have all helped ensure that children of shluchim never feel alone.
“But on Lag B’Omer, we take it to the next level, giving the children a parade they will never forget!”
Different families of Shluchim worldwide have signed up to create virtual floats that they will show during the parade. The floats are all on the theme of the ‘ten mivtzoim.’ They are being baked, drawn, built… anything the family comes up with!
The boys of the Nigri International Shluchim Online School, who will be presenting the Marching Band and clown entertainers, are working hard perfecting their skills. “Magic Avi” will be performing a special show as well.
It is sure to be a memorable event.
