How does this differ

How does this differ from the “Kosher” App from Rusty Brick? I’ve had it for years

Is It Uptodate?
May 26, 2016 10:43 pm

Comparing it to Kosher GPS App for Crown Heights location, it’s missing the latest openings such as: Prime Wok on Kingston Ave, and Brooklyn Artisan Bakehouse Café on East NY Ave. Also Pomodori changed its name to Benny Brick Oven Pizza, but on KosherNearMe it’s still listed as Pomodori.

Been waiting for this since 1998...

Kosher Near Me insists that all restaurants have current certification. However, it is up to the consumer to verify that the restaurant’s kashrut status is current and that the certification meets their personal standards. When KNM is notified of a closure or restaurant losing kosher supervision they are immediately removed. Hope that helps alleviate any concerns.

You mean that it uses the phones location. Many apps have been using this for years before Uber existed. I might be a nice app but there is no need for clickbait journalism.

I downloaded the app, allowed my location and presto! every kosher place in my city appeared. Great work!
