Matzav.com reports:
Two frum men from New York were swept into the ocean on the coast of Miami, Florida, today and passed away.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, a group of five people were hanging out at the beach off Collins Avenue and 140th Street.
“Today we had a call about five victims in distress (and) we deployed a jet ski,” Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Lt. Tiago Choze said. “Unfortunately, those people were in an unguarded area, so my recommendation to them is please always swim near a lifeguard.”
Two men are being treated at Aventura Medical Center. A fifth is said to have emerged unscathed.
R’ Yitzchok Rosenberg obm was the Rosh HaKahal of the Satmar Kehilah in Williamsburg, under the leadership of the Satmar Rebbe of Kiryas Yoel, HaRav Aron Teitlebaum Shlita.
He was the owner of the Rose Castle Hall in Williamsburg, as well as Exclusive Doors, Certified Lumber, Boro Park Lumber and other businesses.
R’ Chaim Parnas obm was a prominent member of the Satmar Kehilah in Kiryas Yoel, where he was a longtime resident.
The two were part of a group of men who were at the Haulover Beach off of Collins Avenue in North Miami Beach. The others are R’ Anshel Hershkowitz, R’ Yitzchok Englander and R’ Wertzberger.
Community members are working with local authorities to release the bodies, which will be flown to New York by private jet for burial.

so sad and scary WE NEED MOSHIACH NOW!
This is too much already we need Moshiach!
Sometimes a rip current can be felt with your hand or shoe on shore.
It might cause one to feel off balance slightly when the water covers your shoe….or with your hand, you feel like you want to take it out ….
When people think of dangers in the ocean, sharks may be the first thing that comes to mind (especially given this summer’s spate of shark attacks off North Carolina). But it turns out that one of the most dangerous things in the water is a rip current. According to the United States Lifesaving Association (USLA), more than 100 people nationwide die every year after getting caught in a rip current, and at least 80 percent of lifeguard rescues are due to rip currents. “Rip currents are fairly common because sandbars are constantly shifting and changing based on the weather,” Tom… Read more »
THE AUTHORITIES SHOULD CLOSE THAT BEACH.
Mr. Parnas and Mr. Rosemberg we always remember you 🙁 <)
Unfortunately, one does not have to go so far out into the water to get into major trouble. at the beaches in Israel, the mediterranian, it is known for the strong currents to be so strong, that red flags are up all over the place and lifeguards are yelling all the time for people not “to drift” in certain areas which is so easy to do not davka btw…the danger is ever present, even close to the shore. . This is such tragic news, BDE
Swimming in the ocean and vast lakes can be very dangerous even for people that know how to swim. A rip tide is when water comes from underneath and drags the person out. Most people try to fight it and can’t. Research what to do in a rip tide.
There’s a reason there’s a sign not to swim in certain spots (which is what they were doing), let’s not use halacha to do stupid things, that’s called a chosid shoteh.
Mikveh?

Let’s “remind” Hashem that in Golus we have many trials and tribulations as well as us not being able to serve Him with the complete 613 Mitzvos! We want and we NEED Moshiach Now! Then we will sit down and talk and Hashem could give us all the explanations… Then shower us with Brochos Ad Bli Dai!!
