glad you got pulled over by the imbicile cops – you are a nut and a loser for posting that.
I bet you were reckless and glad you got called for it.
Shame on your behavior.

And for all the other croakers here – don’t let the door hit you when you leave. It aint safer in other places. look around, and you will get it. You think Israel is? (just this morning I Tel Aviv no less) Paris?

Rebbe did say stay so many of us stay. No need to go knock the whole community.

Exaggerations

CH is not completely safe but it is not close to as dangerous as ppl claim.

I was recently in crown heights, and what happens in the roads is extremely dangerous. Too many impatient and dangerous drivers. Be happy that they’re keeping everyone safe

The neighbourhood is actually safer today that decades ago.

I got pulled over tonight by 2 imbicile ‘cops’ for alleged ‘improper turn’! You kidding me 71! Are we your problem you waste your time and resources on?? Pathetic good for nothing’s

You are obviously not someone who was around in the 70’s in Crown Heights. There were horrific murders then & Jews were losing their lives. Children were not safe to wait for the bus without an adult right there. The non-Lubavitchers were mamash giving their houses away to move out & the Rebbe spoke to us constantly & strengthened us not to run ….

When the Rebbe said to stay it was because all the yidden were leaving, and it wasn’t the safest neighborhood.

Wait until Mayor deblasio lets in thousands of Muslims into the city to roam freely and then we will have a problem, im predicting that there’s gonna be a lot of crime when these anti Semitic Muslims from Syria come to NY

Oy Hashem!

I inderstand that the rebbe said that he wants us to stay, but that was decades ago, when the neighborhood was safer then it is today, there is so much crime going on in crown

The rebbe said stay so we stay

The real story
November 18, 2015 4:13 pm

He was driving erratically. The police were afterdhim. He couldnt pass the bus so he ran. The police chased him down Montgomery and when they saw he had a gun that he lifted they shot him.

17: yes very much to do with ch, PEOPLE who live here are causing drama. not sure this guy lives here but there are plenty of related incidents in CH (i’m sure many not reported).

19: nice try but this neighborhood is proven much more dangerous than many others. where i grew up nothing like this ever happens, and we don’t have any cops patrolling. i felt very safe walking the streets all hours. here i would never and let alone my kids, no way.

the only thing that can possibly make me feel safe, trust in The One Above.

not safe
November 18, 2015 2:44 pm

The reason the guy ran is because probrably the car was not registered and he did not have a license to drive, or it was a stolen car, and I don’t think cameras would of helped in this situation because he was driving through crown heights when he got into a accident.

I think you should lock yourself in a cabinet so you wont get shot i mean it looks like everyones armed and everyone wants to kill you in every place theres a couple crazy people and if you dont trust in god you have alot to be scared of

not safe
November 18, 2015 2:36 pm

Crown Heights is not safe anymore, I cant get out of this neighborhood fast enough

nothing
November 18, 2015 2:33 pm

This incident has nothing to do with Crown Heights. The man was just driving by and got into an accident

ah!
November 18, 2015 2:25 pm

moshiach now

well, there goes the neighborhood....
November 18, 2015 2:18 pm

so much for our neighborhood supposedly being “gentrified.” men with guns fleeing through our streets where our children walk freely, in broad daylight. this is utter madness.

i’ll have to agree with 5. where ever u live ur on shluchis, i don’t blame him or her for wanting to move out.
i’m in the same boat, looking forward to the day.

Btw no real connection.
November 18, 2015 1:54 pm

This P.O Sanz (in the video 12 sec) is a Rosho Gomur who hates Jews and loves writing tickets/summons. We MUST remove him Bcs he’s a rotten apple amongst the better cops at the 71pct. Kudos to the good ones and the one who took down the perp.

Re #1
November 18, 2015 1:52 pm

Fact is he did get them for his district although it took a long time. Fact #2 is how would cameras have helped in this situation?

thats a fancy car

not sure if you are being serious are sarcastic, either way to the defense of #1, public promises by community officials to the community shouldn’t be made if they are never kept.
