A neighborhood-wide learning project was launched this week in Crown Heights to turn these days of mourning into joyous times with the coming of Moshiach.
The “Three Weeks” Torah Classes are organized according to the directives of the Rebbe by Tzeirei Agudas Chabad – the Central Lubavitch Youth Organization in New York.
Starting on Sunday this week, some 14 Chabad shuls in the area are hosting nightly classes in the laws pertaining to the building and the service of the third Beis Hamikdash.
The various classes discuss the prophecies of Yechezkel (chapters 40-43), Mishnayos Tractates Midos and Tamid, and the laws of the Beis Hamikdash (Hilchos Beis Habchira) in the Rambam’s Mishneh Torah.
Participating shuls are:
Main shul at 770 Eastern Parkway
Empire Shtiebel (489 Empire Blvd)

A large gathering uniting all who are participating in these classes will be held on Tuesday, 5 Av – the yartzeit of the Arizal- at Kollel Menachem on Kingston Avenue at 8:00 pm.
The Rebbe quoted the Midrash, where Hashem spoke to Yechezkel said “Let them study the plans of the Beis Hamikdash and I will accept it as if they built the Beis Hamikdash.”
