An event for women for Torah, Tefillah and Tzedaka will be held tonight in light of the horrific tragedy that has occurred in our community on Monday.
N’shei Ubnos Chabad is organizing a gathering in memory of Rabbi Kuti Rapp, OBM, who passed away yesterday in a car accident.
“Whenever tragedy befalls us, Jews gather to daven to Hashem to open the gates of Mercy to us,” said the event organizers.
The gathering will be held Tuesday night from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, in the women’s section of 770 Eastern Parkway.
Rabbi Sholom Pape will address participants. Tzedaka will be collected in the Zechus of Rabbi Rapp, which will be donated to his family.
“We are gathering to show Rabbi Rapp’s family that we are all here to support them in this time of pain,” organizers said. “We are all devastated by this tragedy that has befallen them, since we are all one family.”
A fund has been set up to assist the family.
