As thousands walked the streets of one of Brooklyn’s most prestigious avenues – Seventh Avenue in Park Slope – for the Annual Seventh Heaven Street Fair, Chabad of Park Slope was prepared with a double stand to service all.
This year, in addition to its annual Tefillin stand, Chabad of Park Slope offered everyone the opportunity to have a kosher Mezuzah installed on their doorpost for free.
Rabbi Shimon Hecht, Director of Chabad of Park Slope, was there along with several dedicated Yeshiva bochurim, assisting dozens in performing the Mitzvah of Tefillin and signing up for their own mezuzah.
“Baruch Hashem, we were introduced to many wonderful Yidden during the fair. We are already following up on our newly-made contacts and beginning to put up the requested Mezuzahs.”
