However, it does not seem like it was a “break from a long-held decision”. Rather, it was keeping and fulfilling a long-held decision to follow the Rebbe’s words of not underwriting all the costs of a mikvah.

That the Rebbe said about Rabbi Raitport that he is one of the people that fulfill the Mitzvah of “vehogisa boi yomom volayla”-” and you shall toil in it (Torah) day and night”.

We are lucky to have in our generation a person like Harav Hagoen Reb Yitzchok Reitport, who is a Goen Adir and at the same time is a tremendous Machzik Torah.
