Like many Crown Heights residents, a local boys day camp is moving to the South side of the neighborhood. Gan Yisroel, which had over 90 campers last summer, will be moving to Rutland Road.
“We had an amazing summer last year,” says camp director, Zvi Lipchik, “but Gan Yosef Yitzchok moved into the building which we were using. Baruch Hashem, we were able to work out a rental agreement with Darchai Menachem, so we’re moving South.”
“Every singele one of our campers had a great time last year because of our great staff led by head counselor Rabbi Ahron Chazan, rebbes who make learning fun, creative activities and trips, and unique extras such as bonfires and an overnight camping trip.”
Gan Yisroel has students from all of the neighborhood yeshivas from ages 3 – 12, To register a child or to apply for a job, email [email protected] or call (347)857-8746, or visit www.gych.org.
