Another great Chabad organization that deals with prisons in the entire world is Chabad Reaching Out which has its headquarters in Crown Heights. I have been an avid reader of their website http://www.jewishprisoner.com especially the monthly issues of Reaching Out they mail free.

Yes ,I alsogo to rikers island in New York City. There,s a group of ladies going on a roster, under direction of shaina goldin. they don’t allow food or even a few cents tzdoka for the lady inmates, we visit. We look at it as a learning experience to make them aware of Judaism, not to provide any help.,
