On Tuesday, in honor of the Rebbe’s 113th birthday, and the holiday of Pesach, the birthday of the Jewish people, Mitzvah Tanks paraded throughout the streets of South Florida.
Eight Mitzvah Tanks drove around in a parade throughout South Florida, before participants stopped at Lubavitch Educational Center to eat lunch and take a picture.
Afterwards, the Mitzvah Tanks dispersed throughout South Florida taking up positions to do Mivtzoim. With the participation of approximately 150 children and Bochurim manning the tanks, hundreds of Matzos were distributed, Jewish men put on Tefillin, and many insisted in performing the mitzvah of Tzedaka to show their appreciation for chance to do Mitzvahs.
A special thanks to Mendy Bortunk, Asher Sossonko, Eli Schochet (and the Slate Group), Nissy Eber, and everyone else that helped out to make this parade happen.
Some beautiful footage was captured by a drone. Special thanks to Mendy Korf and Meir Fellig for coming out to fly the drone.
