Israel National News:
54.6% of some 5.8 million eligible Israeli voters have voted as of 6 p.m., according to the latest statistics, as the race to enter the 20th Knesset heats up.
That represents a slight decrease compared with the same time during the 2013 elections (55.5%), but is still higher than in other previous election since 1999.
The slowing pace of votes came after a whopping 13.7% of eligible votes were cast as of 10 a.m. – significantly higher than the 11.4% registered at the same time in 2013.
Thousands of votes have already been submitted to the Central Elections Committee (CEC) offices – the votes of IDF soldiers, who have had the privilege to vote since Saturday night.
Meanwhile, the vast majority of the 6,300 eligible voters in Israeli embassies abroad, including diplomats and their families, representatives of the Jewish Agency and other workers, have voted so far in the 20th Knesset elections as well, according to Walla! News.
That, despite the bad weather on the East Coast in the United States.
its not about our understanding, who said that if we vote for something that made sense it wouls “help” and “save” everything???
its about what we need to do. we need to vote for the 3 shleimuyos- and YES this is what the rebbe wants. he told us outright.
118,638 right wing votes went to Yachad – and went to the trash. Lasr rime 66,775 went to Otzma L’Yisrael, and went to the trash. 75% (last time it was 54%, so we’re far worse off now) of Kfar Chabad threw their votes away!!! Is that good? Is ir what the Rebbe would have wanted?
Plus, Yachad split off – why vote for baalei machlokes shemachlishim et hatzibur?
And why, why, why, does Chabad insist on throwing away perfectly good right wing votes – especially when there is such a dreat chashash about a left wing government??
vote for netanyahu…. he did pretty well until now!
I voted Yachad – Eli Yishai. As long as Buji & Tzipi don’t get to form a government (Deri doesn’t stand a chance) I’m OK with pretty much most choices.
Vote for zehut-moshe faiglin
If it’s a leftist government Israel will be long dead before then.
If it’s a rightist government someone will kvetch and bring elections sooner.
And what I’m hoping for is no government and new elections, because it isn’t looking good so far.
