A campaign has been set up as part of a $1 million dollar goal to create a lasting trust fund that will support the Kehaty Family.
On Sunday, the world suddenly and unexpectedly lost an incredible man with a special soul. A kind and giving father, husband, and son who was full of love and laughter. Nadiv Kehaty OBM leaves behind four children, and the community launched a fund to help with the children’s long term expenses.
An oversight committee led by Rabbi Chaim Fogelman has been assembled to be responsible for all funds raised during this campaign. A wealth manager is being hired to manage and allocate the funds appropriately.
The committee members include Rabbi Chaim Fogelman, Nosson Lang and Shmuly Lang, Motti Wiener, Rabbi Getzel Markowitz and Eli Hecht.
3 generous groups of matchers stepped up to fund a 250,000 matching campaign…effectively QUDRUPLING every dollar donated.
It’s all or nothing, for these 24 hours.
Your $100 is worth $400
Your $180 is worth $720
Your $250 is worth $1000
Your $500 is worth $2000
Donations are tax deductible via the board of Itchke’s Shteibel.

SUCH A CHESED!
KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK!!!!!!!!!!
I TOTALLY AGREE. although the achdus of the worldwide Jewry is absolutely amazing!!!
i know it is a hard thing to think about life insurance at such a young age, but it is very important. All young couples should think very seriously about investing in some. Go to a broker who has access to all companies, that can help you with which plan is right for you and your family. It is of the utmost importance. but still…. amazing that his friends and coworkers have helped his family in this way!!!
It is beautiful to see the community coming together to help. It is a true testament to the loving nature of our community. Perhaps we should also use this as an opportunity to educate young families about the importance of life insurance to ensure families should be taken care of financially should, G-d forbid, anything happen to one of the parents.
Many people here have asked about a paypal address. Anyone who wishes can paypal a donation to [email protected]. Please specify in the note that it is for the Kehaty Family Fund.

Yes, it should definitely be done.
However, someone has to start it and organize it (Anyone in California or from the Shluchim Network ready – I’m sure the family can use it). This (2nd) campaign was organized with the help of Shmuly and Nosson Lang of Lang Realty – the company Nadiv worked at.
Once it is started, general Anash will contribute.

IN 2 HOURS!! BH
It’s amazing to see thousands of people step up to plate, and give generously to a family in their time of need.
I’m sure that a lot of those donations are from people (like myself) who didn’t even know Nadiv, but feel the tremendous compassion and care for a family during their time of grief.
We have a lot to be proud of as a community.
Nadiv you would be SO active in this fundraising campaign if it wasn’t for your family’s financial needs because you are gone.
We miss you sorely and love you.

What about the money that was donated on Go Fund Me? Will that also be quadrupled? I’m not in a position to give again.
What about donations that were already made to gofundme.com/kehatyfamily ?
