Parenting is an adventure, they say, and it comes with its own unique challenges. Parents are constantly facing difficult dilemmas such as, “where could my child possibly have hidden their shoe, and why does it always have to be five minutes before we need to leave?”
Halacha with children presents its own set of challenges but it shouldn’t have to be as complicated as locating missing shoes!
Rabbi Bluming will address some of the common issues that arise regarding children and hilchos shabbos, the age for wearing tzitzis, and the never ending dilemma of kids wanting a hot dog five minutes after eating a yogurt.
If, like many other mothers out there, you’ve struggled with these big questions, then be sure to attend Junior Nshei’s latest halacha event, “Big questions about Little ones” and bring a pen and paper! Last time this topic was discussed, it was a “standing-room only” event, so come on time!
The event will take place on Monday, 6 Shvat, January 26 at 8:00PM at 827 Montgomery Street. Admission is $5. It’s cold out there, so bring a friend!
To get the latest updates on Junior Nshei activities follow them on facebook www.facebook.com/chjuniornshei or email [email protected]
Can’t make it? To watch a live broadcast of the event, email [email protected] for details.
Was the shiur recorded as well as broadcast? Anyway for those of us who couldn’t make it to watch online?
Would someone please be able to post there notes from the event on this forum. Thank you! Also, if the event was recorded, please post!
As it says in the article, email [email protected] for details on how to watch it live.
He is totally dedicated to helping people. A real treasure in Crown Heights! He answers shailes and helps people every free minute he has and does not get paid for it!
How can those of us from out of town or even out the country, be recipients of this integral shiur???
Rabbi Bluming is truly special!
It would be wonderful if something like this could take place a few times a year! (Perhaps with other Poskim so the burden doesn’t have to be only on Rabbi Bluming)
I agree that this should be somehow recorded!!
Regardless, thank you rabbi Bluming and all who organized the event!!
Rabbi Bluming is a Living example of what a chosid of our Rebbe should like ! we could all take example .
Is the shiur still happening on Monday?
can we submit questions?
Would really appreciate and most would definitely benefit if it would be braudcast live via Torah cafe or any other stream.
A big chesed to those who can’t make it or live out of town.
Thank you very much !
Will there be a recording of this shiur? If so, could someone post the link? Thanks!
Rabbi Bluming is amazing! Always humble and patient.
Btw I think he does it ( answering questions/ shalom bayis…) without getting paid. And he is not involved involved in all the silly politics!
Can you broadcast it live on col for those who live out of town? I would love to watch this.
please discuss placing a backback with diapers, bottles etc on a toddler so he can carry it on shabbos to shul or to a friend house etc
so maybe use a larger location for such an important topic?
Such an important topic. Better these Qs to be answered by a Rav than on FB groups
