A Nice Man

He was a very nice man. I miss him very much.

Riots.

All very well and good. But he failed where he had the authority to act. He let the riots go on for four days, before Mayor DingDong finally let the police go into action. as governor, it was Cuomo’s duty to call out the National Guard to put down the insurrection on day 1. And had the victims been black, he would have done so. He failed us.

That last picture??

It looks like Shimon Peres, not Mario Cuomo.

Not a democrat

Mario Cuomo was old-school – he was a real Democrat, not a Marxist, not a panderer, but a rarity – an honest & principled politician. He will be missed by the old timers, but not by today’s new crop of pols, who cave in to pressure & equate Marxism with the Democratic party. Sad to say, his son doesn’t measure up to his father. RIP.

So sad

He was a strong leader, who did so much good for New York and the Jewish community.

Did good

He provided the Rebbe with a security detail when he did not have to and when it may have even been controversial to do so. You can have no doubt that the Rebbe is guarding him as well.
