High spirits were felt in the Pico Robertson neighborhood in West Los Angeles on Wednesday night, the 2nd night of Chanukah, at the annual “Light the Night” Chanukah festival sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, GUESS INC., 3 WISE VENTURES and The Library Shul.
The event was coordinated by Shliach Rabbi Asher Yemini with the help of Bee Wise Events under the direction of the Chabad Israel Center and Rabbi Amitai and Fayge Yemini.
Hundreds enjoyed carnival rides, face painting, balloons, game truck, and the popular giant slide. Izzy D Jay got the crowd bouncing with incredible beats and lively music and really brought the Chanukah spirit to life.
The highlight of the evening was the lighting of a giant Menorah by Israeli Consul General of Los Angeles, Mr. Danny Gadot with the help of a stiltwalker.
The evening was a great success, with special thanks to Rabbi Berel Yemini and the volunteers who ran the show and exciting children’s rally with amazing prizes and goody bags for each child.
Special thanks was given to Levi Percia Photography.
