A community-wide event in honor of Yud Tes Kislev was held this year in Passaic, New Jersey.
The first of its kind, the observance of this milestone day in Chassidic history and life was organized by Rabbi Yeshoshua Dubinsky.
Guest speakers included HaRav HaGaon Rav Chaim Cohen shlita (Head of Mechon Business and Halachah; Rav of Beis HaMedrash Gur of Flatbush) and HaRav Avraham Yehoshua Heschel shlita (son of the Kapischnitzer Rebbe zt”l and a direct descendant of the Mezritcher Maggid).
Divrei Bracha were given by Rav Ron Yitzchok Eisenman, Rav of Ahavas Israel in Passaic, NJ.
The event was followed by a sale of seforim of Chassidus, at which numerous community members purchased their very first sifrei Chassidus.
Based upon the success of this first event, many more events spreading forth the wellsprings of Chassidus are planned for the Passaic-Clifton community.

Well done, Rabbi Yehoshua Dubinsky! We are so proud of your efforts to bring the light of Chassidus to the Passaic area!
You & your Rebbetzin should have great success in all your
future endeavors b’ezras Hashem.
Nice to see Rabbi Heschel being Mafitz Chasiddus
Very interesting, especially the participation of choshuveh non-Chabad rabbonim. I’m wondering whether at least when reporting on such events it would be possible to caption the photos so readers can match the faces to the names — it’s one thing when the article is about somebody like Rabbi Kotlarsky or Rabbi Krinsky or other well-known Chabad rabbonim who eveyone knows, but for an article like this one I think captions would definitely be a plus.
