mental illness
December 11, 2014 8:07 pm

From people’s comments it seems the community is rather ignorant of mental illness and its dangers. Yes someone who is Bi polar and psychotic can plan an attack in detail.
Just because they are mentally unstable doesnt mean that they cant think plan and execute.

Please post how to get in touch with the family and where to donate. We are very happy to see the mother come to be near her son! May here have a Rafua Shleima be Karov Mamash, get back to his usual self, be with his parents and siblings in the safest place in the world Eretz Yisroel and continue being mazliach in his learning. May he have Hazlacha and Siyata DeShmaya in everything he does!

A little more respect and sensitivity

I think it’s wise to remember to put ourselves in others shoes – would you like to be spoken about in a pitiful manner?
Of course there are no bad intentions here, but what has occurred is challenging enough, and true respect and sensitivity is what is needed here.

They are the nicest people

Mrs. Rosenblatt is such a dedicated teacher, really a sweet person!
Many blessings for Levi Yitzchak’s complete recovery.

Ppl commenting – calm down! The family and children have school and studies, and the father needs to be with them obviously, and I’m sure they’re praying from afar.
Bh their brother is doing much better, and Iy”h will be completely healed.
What’s with the stress in the comments?

I am crying
December 11, 2014 9:29 am

I am crying because this lovely mothers words were so sweet, so real. Please someone who can help, go to them and help her and get tickets for the husband and other kids to come to the brother.

only in America...
December 11, 2014 7:58 am

Only in America, when jews are attaked, they actually do something. And they even help the mother who comes to see the victim. I’m telling you, it’s not like this in France or in Europe. They would actually feel very bad for the terrorist….

If your sincerely concerned maybe his father can’t afford to travel so how about looking into a ticket for him rather than commenting.
OH are you a yenta!

question
December 10, 2014 11:32 pm

so is there evidence or not that he had a psychiatric condition? there was alot of planning in what he did, he came to 770 twice, that took planning, think about that. something doesnt add up here.

The Reporters question about if he would be safer in Israel was despicable.

Just as we see the Rebbe’s words here from the Torah that Israel is the safest place in the world, so too may we now see the fulfillment of the Rebbe’s prophecy regarding the coming of Moshiach immediately. This yud tes kislev!!
