I didn’t come from the most stable family and being under Mrs. Gansburg’s care was the first experience I had of a mother, really, someone who cared when you got home, where you were, how you were feeling. i was only at machon Chana for a short while and was in the dorm for a very short while. Yet Mrs. Gansberg left a lasting impression. Everything she did was with someone else in mind. This was her life and now her legacy. We the girls from Machon Chana also were in seven days of shiva, without our families to comfort us – except for her children! Chami, Frady and Yossi thank you for your words of comfort when we came to comfort you.
