A real dynamic duo will perform at the 53rd N’shei UBnos Chabad Winter Convention Retreat: Mirele Rosenberger on the keyboard and Rus Devorah Wallen will be singing and playing guitar.
Rus Devorah Wallen is an accomplished musician, performer and lecturer. An inspiration as a Jewish woman, therapist, teacher, and friend, her warmth, sensitivity, humor, and genuine concern for others are the qualities she employs in her creative presentations – during which she often relates her own experiences.
Mirele Rosenberger is a freelance pianist, composer, arranger and conductor who was the music director for world- renowned singer, Ruthi Navon, which sent her traveling the world doing women’s concerts for Chabad and other groups. She has also played for Rachel Miller, Kineret, and plays the music for the yearly Kinus Hashluchos.
The 3-day weekend, which will take place in Pittsburgh, PA, Dec 12-14, 2014 will offer inspiration alongside gourmet cuisine, relaxation and ambience.
Participants will enjoy relevant topics of discussion, exciting musical entertainment, camaraderie and friendship, at the newly renovated Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Pittsburgh-Greentree, PA.
Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Jacobson, Scholar in Residence, Rabbi Manis Friedman, Guest Speaker and Mrs. Rivki Hazan (Milan, Italy) – Keynote Address, are some of the notable presenters on the program this year.
Highlights of the upcoming event include: fascinating workshops on topics ranging from Chassidus and Kabballah, education and child rearing, mysticism and Mikvah to women’s health and personal relationships; personal stories of inspiration; a joyous Chassidic Farbrengen; a gala Melave Malka; a Grand Sunday Banquet at noon; and joyous music and dance.
For those who are unable to attend the entire event, there are options to join the convention for one or more segments: Shabbos only, the Gala Melave Malka, the Sunday Workshops and the Grand Sunday Banquet at noon.
