Bochurim and girls from Lubavitch yeshivas and girl schools from throughout Israel have joined the Dor Dayah program this past year, which culminated this month.
Over 1,500 bochurim and 700 girls took part in learning during their spare time, breaks and vacations, to earn money towards a ticket to come to New York to spend Tishrei in Crown Heights.
The program is sponsored by R’ Sholom Ber Drizin, who funds the one million dollar budget for rewards – money towards a ticket to New York based on how much was learned – with many earning a full round-trip ticket.
The program is directed by rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Wilschanski and is coordinated by Rabbi Hillel Springer.
The boys study program includes Mishnayos, Likutei Sichos, Tanya, and Maamarim of the Rebbe Rashab and the Rebbe.
The girls includes Mishnayos Zroim and mainly the Rebbe’s Sichos and Tanya.
The boys learned at total of 3,000 pages of Tanya by heart, 17,000 prokim mishnayos by heart, 12,000 sichos by heart, and 4,000 maamorim by heart.
The girls learned 6,000 Pirkei Mishnayos, 15,000 pages of Tanya and 14,000 Sichos.

R’ Sholom Ber Drizin is a Goan Olam in giving Tzedaka. He gives a “breiter hand” and looks for nothing. He just loves to help. Everyone should have R’ Sholom Dov Ber ben Sarah in their tefillos this Rosh Hashana, that he and his Rebbetzin be well and continue their outstanding tzedokah till Moshiach.
