Praying
September 13, 2014 11:25 pm

Wishing from the bottom of my heart that all those struggling with infertility should be blessed with healthy children this year gd willing. I can’t imagine what it must be like for you and sincerely pray and wish you all healthy children NOW!!! And I agree that this subject shouldn’t haveto be taboo and am glad that this song was written and this article brought awareness to our community for those suffering. I hope to hear good news. Wishing everybody a happy healthy sweet new year!

Hashem always answers.
September 12, 2014 7:21 pm

We B”H have a brood, after waiting many years for our first precious gifts. But I feel you pain.
Just remember: Hashem always answers, even when it might be taking more time then we can bear, to wait for His answer.
I remember begging the Eibishter, “Just tell me how long I need to wait. I’ll wait quietly and happily.”
May the Eibishter send each person, the personal Yishua that they need. But most importantly, the Geula Shileima for all of Klal Yisrael, Now!

Don’t worry, you are not forgotten!
People are constantly talking about the shidduch crisis, and what we can do to help.
This on the other hand… Is a very serious issue that is not as in the open.
I think it’s even harder, because people who struggle finding a shidduch, think that’s the biggest thing in the world, and once it’s solved… Their are no more big worries.
And then… This can happen 🙁
I hope all the woman struggling have their prayers answered this Rosh hashana, and are blessed with a beautiful healthy baby.

#2 I feel your pain
September 12, 2014 11:21 am

After going through many years of fertility treatment, and spending every penny we had on the treatments, all the heartbreak of negative results, I finally took upon myself – while lighting candles erev shabbos to ask a bracha from Hashem for 3 other woman I knew who were struggling for many years, ( I didn’t even know their full names I would just mention their names I know them by) — 1 of the woman recently had a baby, 2nd woman is pregnant and low and behold I have finally become pregnant and we are counting down the days!! I… Read more »

You miss the point. This video is talking about the pain of childlessness. There are many who struggle with this pain without the support of a loving husband. They may not have the pain of disappointing doctor’s visits, etc., but they also do not have the hope that goes along with trying. Their hands are tied behind their backs while their window of opportunity slips away, and there is nothing that they can do about it. For some reason, though, it is taboo in our community for a single person to admit to the pain of childlessness, so they generally… Read more »

to #5. Our infertility experience
September 12, 2014 3:35 am

We’ve suffered from infertility for 14 years and have endured many many unsuccessful rounds of IVF and a miscarriage. B”H one round was successful and we have a beautiful 10 year old daughter. Despite davening for others and ourselves, giving tzedakah for others and ourselves, and so on, we have not had any more children. Infertility is a very painful condition, highlighted in the frum lifestyle because family is so important. On a personal level and in consultation with our rav and mashpia, we have now stopped fertility treatments and are leading very fulfilling lives in other ways. Nevertheless, the… Read more »

Being a close family member of a child suffering from a serious illness
September 11, 2014 7:37 pm

This song moved me incredibly.
It expressed great loss and confusion, where no comfort can really help. It is in these times that the power of tefila is clearly the inevitable answer.
And when Yidden unite in davening for one another it definitely makes a big impression in heaven.
I would to thank all of those who helped my family and davened for us continuously!
Everyone- PLEASE sign up to this great organization of mutual prayer, it will do everyone only good, knowing that there is someone out there who understands your pain, cares, and is davening for you!

Many many Chasidic stories of the those answered who put a fellow Yid first. Hashem wants nachas from his kinder and when they play nice in the sandbox all get a treat esp when you put someone else problems before your own that is true bittul. This is not a game this is emes. What is so complicated here. This is what we all need to do now miyad mamosh. The place of the beis Hamikdosh is where two brothers we worried about each others issues before their own.

many childless people do NOT want to be kvatter – it’s calling attention to their suffering in a very public way.

as much as you find it an honor to be a kvatter, and believe full heartedly in the segulah, i do not find it so much of an honor to be asked. I was ok to be asked the first few times. but after years of still having no kids, i really am uncomfortable to be a kvatter. i am honored that someone would think of me to ask, but then i always have to make an excuse why i cant or don’t want to be. some people understand, while others get offended , why i would turn down this… Read more »

I am a mother of a few precious kinderlach bh, and I just wanted to give you a different perspective of what might have happened at that bris of your friend. See,I have a boy bh and for the whole week till the bris we asked many childless couples or couples who had one but then having hard time with more to be kvatter. Each one couldn’t!/didn’t want to..etc.I didn’t ask for reasons. I went through at least 30 people, some even that I barely know but by morning of bris we still had no one. I am moved by what 25 wrote. In addition, I think every woman married with children should daven for another woman who doesn’t have children and remember her especially in shma kaileinu and go the Ohel as often as possible.

The most beautiful music video i have ever seen!!! Please continue!!! And the King is in the field – may everyone hace their tefillas answered in revealed brochot!

Is this the meaning?
September 11, 2014 9:32 am

Is Kol Hamispalel Ben Chaveiro some sort of trick to get Brochos or is the real meaning that if someone genuinely cares for their friends needs Hashem will shower him with brochos?

One way to help at least a little
September 11, 2014 8:58 am

When you have a bris milah for your baby, go the extra mile and search and search for a childless couple who is available to be the kvatter and kvatterin. Even strangers would be preferable than choosing someone who is NOT struggling with infertility. Don’t squander and waste the segula you can give to a childless couple! We suffered from secondary infertility — our first was already 5 years old and we’d had miscarriages and weren’t getting any younger–and, B”H, good friends (who knew us well enough to know we were cholishing for a second child) had a baby boy.… Read more »

The song is old, but apparently the organization is either new or not well enough known. With so many people in so many different situations needing a yeshuah, it is appropriate to publicize this organization on every Jewish network so people can know to specifically daven for each other.
May all our tefillos be answered speedily and positively.

Because it’s Elul. Your brother or sister needs your tefilos. Is it so hard to understand? If you daven for someone who needs a segula that you also need, Hashem answers you first. But you have to daven. To all who need an answer to your prays, I’m davenning for you now. Please Hashem grant Your children all they desire in a visibly good way, healthy normal children, good health, ample parnasah, happy marriages, redemption from false imprisonment and addictions, reconciliation with family and friends, and an awareness of how much You love us. And grant us all a good… Read more »

What about the people without good health?
Some do not have have children, nor a loving husband and not even health.

My point is, a video opening up the pain of a certain struggle in way is not forgetting about other struggles, it’s just that you can’t do everything at once..

It worked for us

I bought the פסוק והיה זרעך one year for a relative and I had a baby that year. Bought it again the next and we bh both have kids

Because the Jewish community has spent so much time making infertility taboo and we need to make that change. Infertility is unfortunately a very real struggle for so many people and this song provides comfort and also helps our community learn a loving lesson in sensitivity.

please don't give up
September 10, 2014 11:22 pm

We went through infertility, and we know others who have too, And we’ve been blessed with children, as have others we know. Your situation can change overnight, and all the previous pain and struggles simply dissipate. Keep strong.

oh how this subject hits home!happy that the song had a happy ending. for those of us going through infertility, it sometimes seems that this painful journey will never come to an end. so many tears i have shed on the subject, sometimes i think i will run out of tears. some days it is hard to get up, but i do anyway. so hard to see all my friends getting pregnant one baby after the next, and G-d wont even grant me with one. i am happy for all my friends joys, but my heart rips a little more… Read more »
