YSP in Morristown recently completed its 34th summer. With 195 Talmidim (marking it the biggest summer ever), this was the most successful summer both BiGashmius UbiRuchnius.
This past summer YSP expanded in many areas; adding more trips to the already exciting schedule, major improvements to the sports grounds, and upgrading the in-house entertainment just to name a few.
Most importantly however, the success of this summer was noticeable in the learning program. The majority of the classes were able to conclude Perek Lulav V’aravah by the end of the summer (which is in itself revolutionary about this year), and had over 100 Talmidim reviewing the entire Perek Baal Peh (which is significantly more then in previous years), and as a reward they each received a personal Shas.
In spirit of the above mentioned, YSP had three experienced and dedicated Head Staff Members; namely, Head Counselor Levi Harlig, Learning Director Gedalya Hertz and Learning Director Shmuli Slonim. The learning program was spear-headed by the Menahel Ruchni Rabbi Asher Oster. YSP is always known for its staff, and this summer was no different with the most chayusdik and devoted group of 30 Staff Members who truly gave the Talmidim a summer of a lifetime! This is all obviously thanks to the director of YSP, Rabbi Mendel Goldberg and Rabbi Moshe Herson, of the Rabbinical College of America
The feedback from parents and talmidim alike was very positive throughout the summer, and once again a proper preparation for Mesivta was provided for every individual Talmid. We wish all of the Talmidim all the Berachos in all areas.
