Gan Izzy at Chabad North Shore was back again with another two thrilling weeks of holiday adventures.
Over 85 children participated in the fun and games electrified by the Gan Izzy spirit. Activities included tennis training, soccer games, challah baking, Jewish learning classes, basketball, painting, drama, you name it-it was there!
“The Madrichim this year came to join form the Eastern Suburbs and were outstanding. All the children have enjoyed their energy, creative spirit and Ruach,” said camp director Rabbi Moshe Angyalfi.
“We would like to thank all our staff, Yehuda Hatzvi, Shmuli Althaus, Yossi Glogauer, Yehuda Blasenstien, Motti Barber, Dovid Kastel and Eli Leinkram headed by our hard working and dedicated head counselor and community Shliach Lavi Klein.”
Camp Gan Izzy also ventured on four great excursions- Bowling & Lazer Skirmish, Sea Life Aquarium, District 3 and Lollipop’s.
It is a real tribute to Chabad North Shore, as well as to the HS Boys, who voluntarily gave up their winter vacation to dedicate their time, efforts & energy to ensure that these precious Yiddishe kindelach had the most fulfilling & meaningful Gan Izzy experience, especially at a time like this when Klal Yisroel need a real yeshua, which will come about in the zechus of the children. May you all continue your fantastic work and to being a shinning example to others of “Hamayseh Hu Ho-ikor”. Kol Hakavod!
