The Klurman Mesivta school in Miami Beach, Florida, held a graduation ceremony, honoring students who completed their studies and those graduating eighth grade, on Sunday, 17 Sivan.
The excitement of this year’s graduation was accentuated by the majority of the eleventh grade class having chosen to continue their studies in the Yeshiva Gedolah of Chabad in Miami next year.
The ceremony was emceed by eleventh grade student Sruli Duchman, who entertained as he introduced the various speakers.
Eleventh grade students Benyamin Berkovitz, Yehuda Lipkind and Yossi Gheblikian each addressed the audience drawing on their school experiences and sharing their anticipations for the future.
Siyumim on a perek Gemara and a masechta Gemara respectively were given by eighth grade student Mendel Baron and eleventh grade student Menachem Muller.
Eighth grade parent, Uri Laber, addressed the graduates on the importance and centrality of ahavas yisroel to the life of a yid and the success of a bochur in yeshiva.
The keynote address was given by ninth grade teacher, Rabbi Nochum Schapiro, who spoke to the graduates about the progression to the next stage in their lives that they are about to undertake.
