I too don’t understand why this was labeled a debate. Instead, I would call it a phenomenal discussion, very informative, and thought provoking. I enjoyed Rebbetzin Slonim’s powerful insights. Rabbis Shochet adds much relevance to Torah law, and Rabbi New’s clarifications are edifying. Thank you all, and thank you moderator Molly Resnick. Thanks, Torah Café and COL for posting this. This is surely most effective hafatzoh.
Look at the wide range of views. I believe we need to have more panels of discussion like this.
Nailed it!
So intelligent! All the answers rolling off his tongue and expressed in a clear , easy to understand way ! But still very dignified linguistic wording. You can tell he knows so much- even has answers to the others questions!
R. Schochet speaks so eloquently and insightful. I could listen for hours.
I watched full hour. One can learn alot from these people.
PS I would not call this a Debate.
Rabbi New; his in-depth understanding of the issues and his approach in taking head on today’s challenges with humor, while showing grace and elegance makes him a very unique jewish leader among greats.
very enjoyable and informative
great truly great speaking
Was there the year before. The cell phone is left on by the moderator. She has it go off every minute to let the panelists know what time they have left.
all great speakers, most impressed by Reb. Slonim
thank you. you are inspiring.
great balance of humor while cutting straight to the chase
Wonderful speakers!
Rebbetzin Slonim in particular is simply phenomenal. Eloquent, intelligent and learned. Kol hakavod
Just a constructive suggestion.
Members of the Panel should perhaps switch off their cellphones as the constant buzzing diminishes from the enjoyment and interferes with my ability to fully concentrate.
This was so enjoyable! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing! Rabbi New has a sense of humor, Rabbi Schochet speaks very nice and clear and we can all see how Rebbtzion Slonim is a very learned women.
