Yad L’shliach, the organization that sends $1000 gifts to assist struggling shluchim and their families with their personal needs, just accepted a challenge from an anonymous donor who pledged to cover a full $1000 check for the next shliach on the recipient list, if they could collect 500 Shares on facebook for the cause…….Before NYC candle lighting begins tomorrow night at 8:00 pm.
Practically speaking, each “Share” we get on the photo, only if we have the full 500 before licht bentching, is worth $2.00.
We’re really trying our best to raise as much money for shluchim here, and in doing so, we’ll gladly accept the challenge – the rest is in Hashem’s hands.
