It is too bad that I didn’t see this post a few months ago when it was posted. But if there is still anyone who will read this comment, there is a social worker who will train a child by phone how to respond to bullies, and it only takes one or two sessions, and the fee is reasonable, and the sessions are fun and effective. My daughter teaches pre school. She has told me countless times that she calls parents to tell them their kid is bullying the others, sometimes just one child in the class. More often than not, she gets this reaction: My Chaim/Chaya? NEVER! He/she is such a sweet child, plays so nicely with the other kids & neighbors….etc etc etc. DENIAL. If parents do something (I am not a psychologist but a start would be to acknowledge their Chaim/Chaya is a bully) then maybe it would stop in our schools. Teachers, please, do somthing when you see bad psychology, when you see a small child hurting another, or saying wicked words. IIts not normal, my kids were never cruel with their mouths, they were always kind. It’s not normal for children to be cruel, whoever thinks that is crazy. Kindness is normal. But I know a teacher of small kids who actually puts her Hand up to her mouth and covers the side of her mouth to gossip, and In front of the person she’s gossiping about too. You can spot a bully easily in nursery, teachers gave ignored it for toooo long. Never doing anything, enabling the child. The bully has the problem and should go to ve tested for sociopathy.
