Shluchim Camp Wraps in Florida

For the past week, 80 young Shluchim have been ensconced in a bubble of fun and energy. Utilizing the new Florida grounds to its max, the Tzeirei Hashluchim winter camp has a packed schedule of learning and games to boast of.

Starting each day, the Shluchim are treated to a steaming cup of hot cocoa as they learn lines of Tanya Baal Peh. Line up follows shortly after and then things pick up speed. Davening, learning classes, trips, Farbrengens, the list goes on and on as they go through each moment of camp energizing themselves for their return to their Shlichus.

Perhaps the most beautiful and accomplishing aspect of camp is the new friendships formed and the old ones reinforced. Children of all ages play and entertain each other with stories and experiences of their Shlichus; each one is truly a book for itself.

The camp is directed by a hard working group of experienced Bochurim under the professional leadership and guidance of Rabbi Moshe Pinson and Rabbi Bentzion Shemtov of The Shluchim Office. “With the excitement and hype of the new grounds,” they commented, “this year’s camp has simply been amazing!”
