Whether it takes place in the west or the east, there’s one lecturer the Shluchim winter camp won’t change.
Rabbi Shais Taub, an author and scholar on Tanya and Jewish mysticism, led a farbrengen for area Shluchim and staff members of the camp which has relocated to a new site in Lake Worth, Florida.
It marked the Chanukas Habayis inauguration of the 20-acre picturesque resort in Palm Beach County which was recently purchased for Chabad’s use by Rabbi Shalom Ber Lipskar, Rabbi Yossi Biston and the Shluchim Office.
The farbrengen followed Taub’s welcomed presence and eye-opening talks given at last year’s Tzeirei Hashluchim camp, when it was still located at Oracle, Arizona.
Sitting around set tables this past Thusday, Rabbi Taub spoke about the blessings that come with changing locations and the great impact the camp has on its campers who hail from small cities with little Jewish education.
A special thanks was given to Rabbi Moshe Pinson for his year-long activities for the children of Shluchim and to the camp directors Rabbi Benzion and Simi Shemtov.
