The sons of Rabbi Moshe Feinstein OBM, the revered posek regarded by many as the de facto supreme halachic authority for Orthodox Jewry of North America, were at Lubavitch Headquarters this week.
They came to the chuppah of Yossi Feiner of Los Angeles, CA and Bracha Dalfin of Boro Park which was held in front of 770 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, as customary by Lubavitchers.
The chosson’s grandfather was a close friend of Rabbi Feinstein’s family and has received smicha ordination from Rav Moshe who had a strong relationship with the Rebbe. (The Rebbe had one of his sofrim, Rabbi Eliezer Zirkind write a pair of Rabbeinu Tam Teffilin for Rav Moshe.)
Honored with reading the kesubah on Sunday was Rabbi Dovid Feinstein, Rosh Yeshiva of the Mesivta Tifereth Jerusalem, an elementary, high school and kollel institution in New York City.
His brother, Rabbi Reuven Feinstein, Rosh Yeshiva of the Yeshiva of Staten Island in New York, received a kibbud as well.
“The participation of Reb Moshe’s two sons only continues the positive bond between Reb Moshe and the Rebbe,” commented the father of the kallah, Rabbi Chaim Dalfin, an author and lecturer.
Yossi Feiner’s maternal grandfather, Rabbi Yisroel Yitzchok (Hakohen) Kopilowitz ז״ל . He received Smicha from R’ Moishe Feinstein .
Was it the chosson’s paternal or maternal grand-father who had the close friendship with R’ Moshe Feinstein?
The official web site for this chasseneh is at BrochaAndYossi.info
Yes, we know that, but why not let people stand in the side area?
That is where the chupas were held when the Rebbe was mesader kidushin. (see pictures in the sefer Mekadesh Yisroel).
Mazal Tov!
This is off-topic but why must we have to all “jam” into the walkway?
Why can they open up the railing to the yard where the Rebbe’s sukkah is, for weddings?
I know that some have the wedding in the Sukkah patio, or even on the Women’s patio, but still, I for one, would like to make the Chuppah, IY”H, on the walkway (where I was married), yet at least open it up so that everyone can be comfortable and see (not to mention avoid the mixing that inevitably happens)
Once again Mazal Tov
yes his latest & Brocha.. Habad Portraits vol 1 was dedicated to Yossi & Brocha and is available for purchase online at http://www.jewishinfo.org. However at the wedding the Dalfins distributed another book, The Rebbe’s emissary: The Life of Rabbi Dovid Bryn. He was a shaliach in North Miami Beach and was a most unique person.

Such a zchus!
Your wedding was a beautiful Simcha !
A correction regarding the Chupah. It was Reb Reuven Feinstein who read the Kesubah and Reb Dovid Feinstein who said a Bracha.
Reb Moishe Feinstein was Mesader Kiddushin at Yossi’s grandparent’s wedding.
Did the Dalfins print a new book in honor of the wedding ? KA PDF to b found somewhere ?
Binyan Adei Ad!
These are the things we like to read about.
