The Eighth Day band has just completed a series of Chanukah concerts in Europe and Canada.
The London Jewish Family Centre hosted two fund raising events, featuring the popular band led by brothers Shmuli and Bentzi Marcus.
The band made their London debut at a kumzitz on Motzei Shabbos and at a full-blown concert on Sunday at The Logan Hall.
Their unique and eclectic music style along with beautiful melodious harmonies brought the crowd to their feet and created a wonderful atmosphere.
The two events attracted over 1000 people from throughout England and provided much needed funds for the Family Centre. The Centre is located on Golders Green Road and, aside from its well-known toddler programs, provides welfare and support for those in need.
On the fourth night of Chanukah the local residents of Montreal were treated to a sold out concert with 8th Day. Co-sponsored by Chai Lifeline, Living Legacy and The Friendship Circle, the concert was produced and directed by Rabbi Dovid Weinbaum.
