The annual car Menorah parade which travels from Crown Heights to Manhattan has released a new, updated online registration system.
The new system allows all those participating to sign up, easily send in license and registration information, select their car type, and be appointed a ZONE for the parade setup.
The new measures have been put into place to help keep the parade more organized, efficient and orderly, organizers said.
The NYPD requires every driver participating in the parade to register their license and registration. Drivers must scan their license and registration in the online registration system. The information will be accessible to the NYPD only.
Additionally, the online system will further enhance participants’ parade experience, providing an option to purchase Mitzvoim supplies (Menorah kits, Mivtzoim guides and Chanukah flags). The supplies will be delivered to your car before the parade, along with a suggested Mivtzoim location.
Please note that there will be a police barricade at the entrance of the parade line-up and only registered cars will be allowed to participate in the Parade.
Register today to reserve your spot at the parade.
The parade will take place on Monday, December 2 – 29 Kislev.

In order for the parade to be a real Kiddush Hashem, there should be as many cars as possible. And for there to be as many cars as possible there should be no charge to be in the parade. What is that money for anyway? For someone who would like to make a living on someone else’s shoulders. This is a Mivtza, should be free, and not there for someone to take advantage of others.
And being organised by Shmuli Shuchat the same guy that runs the yud sled Nissan parade in toronto
Anyone know how we can rent a menorah for our car?
This years parade is being organized by Mendy Mentz & Mendy Inglis!!!
