“B’chol derachecha de’eihu,” ‘Know Hashem in all your ways.’ (Mishlei, 3:6)
That is the central theme of a new learning campaign in the Yeshivas Lubavitch of Baltimore in Maryland for its bochurim.
It was launched by the group of Talmidim Shluchim in the yeshiva to raise awareness of Hashem’s presence in our daily lives and the need to conduct life with holiness.
Basing it on texts from the Mishna and Gemara, as well as chassidus and the Rebbe’s teachings, the project called for the fulfillment of what’s written in Pirkei Avos that “vechol maasecha yihyu leshem Shamayim” (“Let all your deeds be for the sake of Heaven”).
To highlight that point, the organizers invited Rabbi Chaim Schochet, a teacher and lecturer based in Crown Heights, to present a shiur on these topics and to lead a farbrengen with the bochurim in honor of Tes/Yud Kislev.
Schochet is especially known for his engaging lectures, and ability to take the loftiest concepts in Jewish mysticism and connect them to everyday life in a way that students from any background and level of knowledge can appreciate.
The farbrengen lasted through the late hours of the night with Rabbi Schochet inspiring the bochurim which his depth of knowledge and passion for Chassidus.
Ahhhh good old Baltimore, such a wonderful yeshiva, keep it up reb Nochem and reb moshe. Best hanholo in lubavitch

Rabbi shcochet is really a briliant man and a spectacular speaker
Now the mashpeim are actually connecting bochrim with Hashem! Beautiful!
baltimore “talmidim shlucim” L’CHAIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rabbi Shcochet is an amazing speaker for bouchrim to the not religious
I believe that variations of this class should be taught to everyone staring in pre1A – somehow far too may of our kids (and adults) have lost the basic message of HaShem’s personal presence in our lives and the need for tremendous self-awareness to prevent us from falling in our thoughts & actions. This is very crucial information in times of golus. Yasher Koach to Emes !!!!
today more than ever, we need to consciously build a relationship with Hashem that is personal and practical. Kol Hakavod that this yeshiva is working on it!
what an amazing and incredible idea!! im inspired!
