Public message by the Aliya Institute in Crown Heights:
We’re calling on you again. Aliya needs your support to continue its vital work, and so we’ve set up a raffle that may win you a flight to Eretz Yisroel or some other great prizes.
The raffle will be on Rosh Chodesh Kislev – so there are less than two weeks remaining to get involved.
You may remember last year’s Prospect Park Run along with its promo video made by some Aliya kids themselves. The message and need for your support remains as true today as ever.
There are so many young adults in our community that rely on Aliya for direction, a friendly smile, a job, a shiur, a farbrengen or a listening ear. Aliya is a safe haven for our community’s children. It is safe, welcoming and never closes. It’s a place to work out, to jam and, perhaps most importantly, a place that they won’t be judged.
“The best medicine for anyone today is a friendly smile and a compliment. There are no side effects, and it works every time. Try it at home, in the classroom or at work,” says Aliya director, Rabbi Moishe Feiglin “The only condition is that it needs to be genuine.”
Don’t miss out this opportunity to join the mission and make a very real difference to the community, and help create a more inviting, warm and chassidishe atmosphere for our youth.
