The newly elected Governor of New Hampshire Maggie Hassan met with the two Chabad Shluchim in her state to hear about their activities and services for the Jewish community.
Representing Chabad were Head Shaliach of New Hampshire, Rabbi Levi Krinsky, and Rabbi Moshe Leib Gray, the Shliach at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.
Hassan began her career in public service in 1999 with the Adequacy in Education and Finance Commission. She worked as a business attorney, balancing her role as the parent of two children, one of whom experiences severe disabilities.
After hearing about Chabad’s activities and programs, the Governor said she was delighted to spend time with the rabbis.
“She assured us that she will do everything she can to assist us in any way she can,” Rabbi Krinsky said.
Hassan was sworn in as Governor for a two-year term on January 3, 2013.
Very proud of Rabbi Krinsky! You do great work!
