In ch there are plenty torahs to go around. Not in ottawa, especially in his daughters chabad house it would be fitting to have a torah liylui nishmas her father. But mikvas they have 2. (One which r motti himself built). Plenty for the ottawa community. In ch theres plenty sifrei and one half baked mikva. Not even close enough to fit the amount who need it on one night. Im going right now to donate to the torah.

so sad

A beautiful new mikveh in Ottawa would be a magnificently perfect tribute to this man who has been such an important part of Jewish life there!

Perhaps she based her comment on what Rabbi YY Jacobson said concerning building a new mikvah in Crown heights: “Many families are completing Sifrei Torah in tribute to loved ones. That is wonderful. But I think there are enough Sifrei Torah in our shuls B”H. Now let us invest in ensuring the purity and holiness of our living sifrei Torah, the future children who will be born in utmost holiness,” he said.
However, first check if there are enough Sifrei Torah in Ottowa’s Shuls. There are already 2 Mikvaos.

oh no?

Oh no!!! Not again!! Another sefer Torah!, for a person of his deeds it would be fitting to donate towards. Building a Mikva. Every city could use an upgrade or enlargement of their mikva as ,b.h. All shluchim work to spread taharas hamishpocha.
