The story of Rabbi Feller and davening mincha, was how they even met the first time. Both of these stories are true.

The mincha story was told over by the Rebbe himself at fabreingen multiple times!!!

The rebbe version

I heard that after he had a struggle in his mind and finally overcame. Later he went to yechidus and he told the Rebbe and the Rebbe replied that his real shaichus to the aibshter started at that moment. Although there were many mitzvos he had already been keeping.

Great Story!

Thanks for sharing this, but I always heard how Rabbi Feller davvened Mincha in Dr Velvel Greene’s office, ‘wasting Dr Greene’s time…’

Nice story, but the one I heard from Professor Velvul Greene was totally different…. But this sounds more dramatic.

Wonderful story! Am sooo impressed! All us Ba’al Teshuvas started this way…….WITHOUT the hotdog/whatever the “hotdog” was!
