The Atlanta Dayanut Institute, under the auspices of Chabad Lubavitch of Georgia, hosted a Yom Iyun for the area Shluchim on Thursday July 4, 2013.
Rabbis Sender Lustig and Avi Shlomo, who are a part of a 3 year program of learning Dayanus and serving the community with adult education programming, organized and led the event in which 20 Shluchim participated.
The learning schedule included the study of a mamar bechavruso and lectures on Amira L’akum by Rabbi Lustig and Muktzeh by Rabbi Shlomo.
A delicious lunch was then enjoyed by the Shluchim. The learning sessions concluded with the study of Mishna and Kaddish by Shliach Rabbi Yossi Lerman of Gwinnett County, in honor of his mother, Mrs. Menucha Lerman obm who recently passed away.
Rabbi Yossi New, head Shliach to the state of Georgia, ended the day by offering the Shluchim the opportunity for the Atlanta Dayanut Institute to deliver lectures on contemporary Halachic issues in their local Chabad Houses.
